“Err Hello”, said Violet said. “No, that won’t be needed, thanks.” Violet didn’t seem to like Scabior at first thought, but she decided he wasn’t someone to mess with so she smiled a bit and kept her thoughts to her self. Besides, she didn’t need any more trouble at Hogwarts.

“Well what a pity, I could use some money.” he grinned, “the name is Scabior, nice to meet ya. What’s your name dearie?”

“No one’s complaining about my abillities as a snatcher.” Scabior said gesturing with his hands. “You, actually want me to prove my snatching abilities.” he looked at his nails, “to a girl who’s not highly appreciated by her own family?” He narrowed his eyes as he looked back at her. “Really.”

“I’m sure.” She rolled her eyes, then stood up to glare at him. “Whatever.” Was he asking for a punch? No, Persephone couldn’t punch, at all. She wasn’t what someone considered tough. “What? What do you mean about that?” She scowled at him. “You’re really asking to get punched.”

Scabior snorted, “you would actually punch me? Are you sure you even want to go there?” he raised an eyebrow and grinned. “Typical for a Malfoy to get so worked up about something small.”

“No,” she said in an obvious tone. “I bet that you can’t even snatch decently well… How many people have you snatched?” She glared at him and sat down on a seat.

He raised eyebrow, “more than enough. Plus, I don’t hear anyone complain.” he leaned against the table and folded his arms, “Why would I have to prove myself to you? If I may ask.” he said a bit amused.

“Anyone complain about what?” Persephone wasn’t the smartest person ever. She watched him closely. “Because… I’m… yeah. That’s why.”

“They’re paying me to be their snatcher. I praticaly live in the woods and know most all of them by heart. And most of the people I have to snatch think hiding in the woods is a smart thing. Well that is, until they run into me and my boys.” he answered.

Besides being sweet to some, Persephone was kind of cocky. She turned to him, then rolled her eyes. “Bet you that you wouldn’t be able to catch me. I’m a pretty fast runner.” Although, she couldn’t disapprate.

“I’m sure that I am the first Malfoy to say that, but my mother might feel the same.” Persephone scowled, then nodded. “Right, I’m sure that they do. What’s your purpose for hanging around, anyway? What does my family need from you?”

“Is it forbidden to be interested in why a girl is wandering in the woods all by herself?” Scabior answered, still with that smirk on his face. “If I wanted to do something I would’ve done it the moment I saw you half an hour ago.” The smirk turned into a grin, “so, what ingredients ‘r you searching for?”

Astoria smiled nervously, “Well I come here… once in a while, to look for ingredients for my potions, right now I’m looking for aconite” she said simply and turned back to the ground and the foot of the trees.

“There’s a specific place here in the forest where it grows.” Scabior said. “I could bring you there, unless you still think I’d harm ya of course. By the way, my name is Scabior.”

Astoria wasn’t very sure, that guy didn’t seem very reliable. “Okay” she accepted thinking that maybe if he knew she was a member of the Greengrass family, meaning one of the families that worked for Lord Voldemort he wouldn’t harm her. “I’m Astoria, Astoria Greengrass” she stated.

“Aaaah, a Greengrass it is!” Scabior replied. “That means we’re on the same side.” He led her deep into the forest, until they reached a open space. He pointed, “there you go miss Greengrass.” he said. “If you need anything else…”

From first impressions, Persephone didn’t like him a whole lot. She judged people on how sketchy they seemed. “Oh, yes… definitely.” She rolled her eyes at him and shook her head. “Mother tells me to get up to my room before anything actually happens.” Or she went up to her room because she was scared of Death Eaters, basically.
